Canal Turn

The Island Quarter

Canal Turn- an all-day, canal-side destination with restaurants, bars and extensive events space. Led by chef patron Laurence Henry – winner of MasterChef: The Professionals 2018 – expect locally sourced ingredients, live-fire cooking and the best of British menus, also opening a brand new events space, and creating a programme of activity from the rooftop all the way through the building and out onto the courtyard.

Hotel & Residential

Across the development, they are creating a mixture of short-stay hotel accommodation, and innovative long-stay home-from-home residences providing connected and city living for the changing needs of today’s travellers. The hotels will be delivered in partnership with IHG; the building will include 223 bedrooms and suites, as well as additional residential rental apartments, a 100-metre long forum for people to meet, eat and drink and 3,000 sqm of flexible serviced office space.

Its distinctive diagrid or diamond-shaped façade, which wonderfully frames the structure, stands out amid Canary Wharf’s business offices and merits its place on London’s list of outstanding landmark buildings.”

The scheme was created with long-term sustainability in mind. Newfoundland’s environmentally friendly attributes include the reduction of almost 8,000kg of CO2 emissions.
